Prof. John Pikett, Fellow of the Royal Society and Wolf Foundation Prize for Agriculture, visited PCCE for the forum "Plant Genomics and New Green Revolution"　in the morning of Feb 28, 2013. Dr. Yiping Tong  hosted his visit. Prof. John Pikett made a presentation on New approaches to crop protection exploiting natural product chemistry by breeding, GM and companion cropping. Afterwards, several PIs of our State Key Laboratory introduced their research work to Prof. John Pikett. Prof. John Pikett also visited the several facilities, such as genetics and proteomics analysis, microscopic imaging, plant nutrition analysis, genetic transformation platform of wheat in the PCCE laboratory. .
